# Sematext OTel Onboarding Everything you need to instrument applications with OpenTelemetry and send telemetry to Sematext Cloud Apps (Tracing App, Monitoring App, Logs App): per-language reference examples, an end-to-end multi-service demo, and an AI-powered onboarding skill. ## Overview This repository covers both sides of the OpenTelemetry onboarding story — runnable code you can copy from, and an AI skill that walks you through the setup conversationally. Two flows are demonstrated: - **Sematext Agent** — the service ships OTLP locally to a running Sematext Agent which forwards to Sematext Cloud. Covered by the per-language examples below. See [Sematext Agent OpenTelemetry docs](https://sematext.com/docs/agents/sematext-agent/opentelemetry/). - **Managed OTLP endpoint** — the service ships OTLP directly to Sematext's hosted receiver.
