AI proposes, you approve. A safety-gate alternative for AI iMessage automation — every message Claude drafts via this MCP is staged in a companion menubar app for one-click approval, edit, or rejection before it actually sends. Full local audit log of every send under ~/.messages-mcp/send-audit.log. No telemetry. Multi-transport roadmap (WhatsApp next). Requires the companion Messages for AI.app installed from the project's GitHub Releases page — the .app's notarized code-signing identity is what macOS Full Disk Access keys to, so a single FDA grant on the .app covers the MCP binary inside.
