# Firmament for Gemini CLI Connect Gemini CLI to **[Firmament](https://getfirmament.com)** — your team's shared, verified knowledge. Your agent asks what's true about your org and how work gets done here, then records what it learns so the next agent doesn't have to relearn it. **One install wires up two things:** - **The tools** — the Firmament MCP server (`ask` and `submit`). Sign in once in your browser when Gemini prompts you. - **The standing reminder** — this extension ships a context file that Gemini CLI loads on every prompt, so consulting the team's knowledge is never forgotten, even in long sessions. ## Install ``` gemini extensions install https://github.com/spkenny455/firmament-gemini-extension ``` Then restart Gemini CLI and complete the browser sign-in when the `firmament` server prompts. Check with `/mcp` — `firmament` should be listed. ## Requirements - Gemini CLI with extensions support. - A Firmament account. Don't have one yet?
