# CARTO Agent Skills A catalog of **agent skills** that teach AI coding tools to drive [CARTO](https://carto.com/) — the cloud-native location intelligence platform — correctly: right tool for the task, right SQL dialect, right job-handling patterns, right import shape. The skills route to the CARTO MCP Server for in-conversation work and the CARTO CLI for scripting and automation. Each skill is a short playbook the agent loads on demand when a user's request matches its domain, so the agent produces idiomatic, working CARTO output the first time. Ready-made install manifests ship for **Claude Code**, **Codex**, **Gemini CLI**, and the **Skills CLI**; any other coding agent with a compatible plugin or rules mechanism can consume the same catalog. For harnesses that only accept a **web upload** (Claude.ai, Gemini Enterprise), each release ships one zip per skill; see [docs/install-matrix.md](docs/install-matrix.md#web-upload-claudeai-gemini-enterprise-claude-skills-api).
