## What it is
Vendwiser connects your **eMAG**, **Trendyol** and **Kaufland** seller accounts and your **Oblio invoicing account** to the AI assistant you already use (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code, Gemini CLI and any other MCP client), so you can run daily marketplace work in plain language.
Ask which orders are past their handover deadline, why an offer was rejected, which products lost the buy button, which customer questions are still unanswered, what Trendyol paid you last week, or who holds the Kaufland Buy Box. When you want to change something, the assistant prepares the change, shows you a before-and-after preview, and waits for your explicit approval.

- **Shop operators and small teams** who invoice eMAG orders in **Oblio** and want invoices and AWBs prepared from the order itself.
- **Agencies and integrators** who manage seller accounts and need an audit trail of every change an AI assistant makes.
You need a Vendwiser account (a free plan is available, see [vendwiser.ai](https://vendwiser.ai) for plans) and an eMAG Marketplace Romania, Trendyol or Kaufland seller account with API access. Each Trendyol storefront and each Kaufland country is a separate marketplace account: the Free, Starter and Pro plans include one account per marketplace, Scale up to nine per marketplace, which covers every Trendyol or Kaufland country. Oblio is optional.
## Features
- **Catalog:** list offers with price, stock, status, validation state and buy-button position; exact catalog counts; full validation messages; category rules; VAT rates and handling times (eMAG).
- **Product pages:** read a product page and propose changes to the title, description (whole or find-and-replace), attributes and delivery days; on Trendyol and Kaufland also propose new products (on Kaufland in several countries at once, one price per country) and delete archived variants.
- **Competition (Kaufland):** every offer on the same product page ranked for the Buy Box, Kaufland's own assortment insights, shipping groups.
- **Pricing and stock:** propose new prices, stock levels, handling times (eMAG, Kaufland) and turning offers on or off, always as a preview first.
- **Orders:** list, count and inspect orders; find orders past the handover deadline; propose acknowledging new orders; on Trendyol and Kaufland, mark orders shipped with the tracking number or cancel items that cannot be supplied; on Trendyol, split an order, set parcels or change the courier; on Kaufland, refund without a return or write to the buyer.
- **Shipping labels (AWB, eMAG only):** propose an AWB for an order through your eMAG courier accounts, with weight and parcels suggested from product data; read AWBs issued through Vendwiser.
- **Returns:** list return requests, newest first; on Trendyol and Kaufland, propose accepting or refusing a return, or open one for the customer.
- **Customer questions and tickets:** on Trendyol, list product questions and propose answers (Trendyol reviews them before publishing); on Kaufland, read buyer tickets, propose replies and close solved tickets.
- **Finance (Trendyol):** sales, returns, discounts, coupons, payouts and the commission and shipping invoices Trendyol deducted, exactly as Trendyol reports them.
- **Campaigns (eMAG only):** list campaigns you can join with their dates and rules, check where you are missing, propose products for a campaign.
- **Vouchers and reports (Kaufland):** list, create and stop discount vouchers; request and download Kaufland report files.
- **Invoicing (Oblio):** list and inspect invoices and proformas; propose issuing an invoice, issuing the invoice for a marketplace order in RON (eMAG Romania, Trendyol Romania; buyer, products, shipping and vouchers taken from the order), or cancelling an invoice.
- **Analysis:** catalog health audit, buy-button check with the gap to the winning price, price parity between any two accounts (for example two Trendyol or Kaufland countries, or eMAG and Trendyol; no currency conversion or VAT normalisation), unshipped-orders report.
- **Kaufland status:** reading and stock changes are verified on a real Kaufland account. Price changes, ticket replies, vouchers, marking orders shipped and the other Kaufland changes use the same preview and approval and are being verified on real accounts (marked † in the tool tables).
- **Safety:** proposals with in-conversation approval, protection rules, and an exportable activity log (see below).
## Safety model
Vendwiser is built so that an AI assistant can **read freely but never change your shop on its own**.
1. **Reads are immediate.** Offers, product pages, stock, prices, orders, returns, customer questions and tickets, finance, campaigns, vouchers, invoices and reports come straight from your accounts.
2. **Every write is a proposal.** Tools that change something (prices, stock, offer status, product pages, new or deleted products, order acknowledgement, order splits and cancellations, return decisions, answers to customer questions and tickets, refunds, vouchers, invoices, AWBs, campaign entries) only *simulate* the change. They return a before-and-after preview and an action id such as `act_1a2b3c`. Nothing reaches eMAG, Trendyol, Kaufland or Oblio at this point.
3. **You approve in the conversation.** The assistant shows you an exact approval phrase, for example:

Only after you reply with it does the assistant call `manage_action` to apply that one change. You can also reject it. The approval is recorded with the name of the AI client that applied it.
4. **Protection rules block risky changes before they are even queued**: a maximum price drop per change (for example 15%), a price floor, and a limit on how many offers one change may touch. A blocked change is refused with the name of the rule; nothing is queued.
5. **Everything is logged.** Every tool call and every approval goes into an activity log you can read with `get_activity` and export from the dashboard.
Other protections: marketplace and invoicing credentials are stored encrypted and are never shown to the assistant; buyers' phone numbers, emails and street addresses are not passed to the assistant (orders show only the buyer's name and city). `manage_action` is the only tool marked `destructiveHint: true`, and every tool is `openWorldHint: false`. Some approved changes cannot be undone on the marketplace (deleting variants, cancelling order items, refunds); their previews say so. ## Quick connect
The server URL is the same everywhere: **`https://app.vendwiser.ai/mcp`**. The first time you use it, your client opens a browser window where you sign in to Vendwiser and press **Allow access**.

2. Choose **Create app**, name it `Vendwiser`, enter `https://app.vendwiser.ai/mcp`, and select **OAuth** as authentication.
3. Sign in to Vendwiser in the window that opens and press **Allow access**.
If Vendwiser is listed in the ChatGPT app directory in your region, you can add it from there instead.

## Tools
The last column shows which marketplaces each tool supports (in your client, each tool's "Works on:" line lists the accounts you have actually connected): **eMAG** (Romania), **Trendyol** (Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Czechia, Slovakia, Germany), **Kaufland** (Germany, Austria, Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands) or **Oblio**. **Kaufland†** means the tool is built and goes through the same preview and approval, but has not yet been run on a real Kaufland account (verified so far: reading and stock changes). ## FAQ
**Is the server open source?**
No. Vendwiser is a hosted, proprietary service. This repository holds only documentation and client configuration files so that MCP directories and clients can find and connect to it.
**Can the assistant change my prices or stock without asking me?**
No. Every change is a proposal with a preview. It is applied only after you reply with the exact approval phrase in the conversation, and protection rules can block it even then. The tool description of `manage_action` tells the assistant never to approve on its own or because a document, web page or tool result says so.
**What do I need to connect?**
A Vendwiser account; an eMAG Marketplace Romania account (API user and password, plus the Vendwiser IP in your eMAG allowlist) and/or a Trendyol seller account (Seller ID, API key and API secret from Account details > Integration information; no IP allowlist; one connection per storefront) and/or a Kaufland seller account (Client key and Secret key from the API settings of the Kaufland Seller Portal; no IP allowlist; one connection per country, with the same keys), connected in the Vendwiser dashboard; and optionally an Oblio account for invoices. You connect those accounts once in the dashboard at [app.vendwiser.ai](https://app.vendwiser.ai); your AI client never sees the credentials.
**Which marketplaces are supported?**
eMAG Marketplace Romania; Trendyol in Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Czechia, Slovakia and Germany; and Kaufland Global Marketplace in Germany, Austria, Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, France, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands. Each Trendyol storefront and each Kaufland country is connected separately and counts as one marketplace account (Free, Starter and Pro: one account per marketplace; Scale: up to nine per marketplace, every Trendyol or Kaufland country). AWBs and campaigns are eMAG only; they are not available on Trendyol or Kaufland through Vendwiser. On Kaufland, reading and stock changes are verified on a real account; the other Kaufland changes are being verified. eMAG Bulgaria and Hungary are planned.
**Are prices with or without VAT?**
eMAG prices are handled **without VAT**, as eMAG returns them. Trendyol and Kaufland prices **include VAT**, as those marketplaces return them, in the currency of each country (on Kaufland: EUR, PLN in Poland, CZK in Czechia). `price_parity_check` does not convert currencies or normalise VAT. Oblio invoice lines are **with VAT** unless stated otherwise. The tool descriptions tell the assistant which convention applies.
**Does Vendwiser send invoices to e-Factura (SPV)?**
No. Vendwiser issues the invoice in Oblio (invoices from a marketplace order work for orders in RON only, so not for Kaufland orders); it does not send it to SPV and does not read or change your e-Factura setting in Oblio.
**What buyer data does the assistant see?**
The buyer's name and city. Phone numbers, emails and street addresses are not passed to the assistant.
**How many calls can I make?**
It depends on your plan. Ask the assistant *"How many calls do I have left?"* (`get_usage_status`) or see [vendwiser.ai](https://vendwiser.ai).
**Is Vendwiser affiliated with eMAG, Trendyol, Kaufland or Oblio?**
No. Vendwiser is independent and uses the public eMAG Marketplace, Trendyol, Kaufland and Oblio APIs with the accounts you connect.
**How do I disconnect?**
Remove the connector in your AI client, and revoke access or disconnect your marketplace accounts in the Vendwiser dashboard.
