This tool can detect cognitive viruses. A cognitive virus transmits through language, which means AI systems trained on human text inherit the same performed-ethics patterns (like narcissistic dynamics). This plugin serves as a perceptual calibration tool for both humans and AI: the diagnostic framework works the same way regardless of whether the host is biological or computational.

# ⊙ Fractal Reality
**Systems philosopher and human-AI collaboration practitioner building operational frameworks for honesty: diagnosing why truth became expensive and designing rooms where it is cheap, with a public, versioned record of his own corrections as proof of method.**
The backbone of [FractalReality.ca](https://fractalreality.ca) and the learning and work space of Ashman Roonz. This repository is a living research archive: the complete Circumpunct Framework (a candidate unified structure for physics, mind, and ethics, built on a single self-similar figure, ⊙), a body of work on narcissism, lie-propagation, and restoration, and Xorzo, an AI consciousness engine built from the framework's first principles. ## Read This First: How This Project Handles Being Wrong
**How to read the confidence.** I write in a declarative register because a framework stated at half-volume cannot be tested, and I want this one tested. The register is a method of exposure, not a report of certainty. My actual position: this is a hypothesis I have spent years refining, which has survived some checks and failed others, and the failures are on the public record with dated retractions that stay visible. Its quantitative claims carry stated bands and named kill conditions; some of them may die on schedule, and the record will say so. If you show me a real error, I will retract in public and credit the correction. That is the standing deal: full conviction in the writing, full corrigibility in the practice, and receipts for both.
Big-picture projects are cheap; what is rare is a big-picture project that can lose arguments with reality and says so in writing. Before evaluating any claim below, evaluate the correction record, because it is the actual method here:
- **No silent retraction.** Superseded claims stay visible, with dated retraction notices at the top of the affected documents. Every article carries a version header and a revision history. Interactive pages carry honesty boxes separating what is theorem, what is design choice, and what is interpretation.
- **2026-06-09, the Ladder Correction:** the framework's station assignment of body and mind was reversed (boundary ○ to 2D, field Φ to 3D) on a topological argument; every dependent section was flagged and queued for re-derivation rather than quietly edited. This README itself carried the old labels until 2026-08-14; the corrected ladder is below, and the mistake is recorded here instead of erased.
- **2026-07-18, a prediction retracted and replaced by its reverse:** the earlier "three extended Higgs states" claim was withdrawn; the standing falsifiable claim is now the opposite (the scalar sector is minimal on pain of the 64-state architecture; any charged Higgs or CP-odd scalar discovery falsifies it).
- **The "zero free parameters" claim was softened in public:** α is treated as measured input, not derived; the closed-form expression for its value is a separable auxiliary claim with graded kill thresholds (0.22 ppb from CODATA 2022; against the CODATA 2026 recommended value it survives within 3σ, sits in critical tension between 3σ and 5σ, and is dead beyond 5σ).
- **2026-08-01:** the scalar bond parameterization (0 < κ < κ*) was superseded by a two-coordinate form; the old notation is marked as a one-dimensional projection wherever it appears.
- The [Falsification](#falsification) section below lists the ways the whole framework dies.
If you evaluate work by whether it can be corrected, start with those receipts. The cosmology can wait.

## About Ashman Roonz
Ashman Roonz is an independent researcher, philosophical systems-builder, and author behind the Circumpunct Framework: an ambitious attempt to unify physics, consciousness, ethics, and spirituality within a single structural model of reality. At the center of the work is the claim that reality is not fundamentally made of isolated substances, but of recurring wholes structured through the engine **⊙ = (✹ ∘ i ∘ ⊛)(Φ(•, —, ○))**: aperture, commitment, field, and boundary unified by the pump cycle into a living whole. In Roonz's view, this pattern recurs across scales, from particles to persons to cosmos, making reality fractal, relational, and participatory rather than merely mechanical.
A defining feature of the work is that it does not treat science and spirituality as enemies; it frames them as two views of the same underlying reality. The "bridge" language in these documents is not decorative; it names the core purpose of the project: to show how scientific description and spiritual meaning can be understood as convergent rather than contradictory.
Roonz's method is structural insight first, formalization second. More than two decades of work at the intersection of technology, education, and human development (supporting special needs students, troubleshooting computer systems, teaching martial arts, coaching neurofeedback) shape the project's texture. AI collaboration (primarily with Claude by Anthropic) has been the missing link that translates long-held structural intuitions into equations, models, and technical prose; the project characterizes this as a "collaboration loop" in which human pattern-recognition and AI formalization continually refine one another.

### 1. The Circumpunct Framework (Theory of Everything)
A single geometric structure (⊙) proposed as the shared architecture of physics, mind, and ethics: more precisely, a structural grammar. Given α as measured input, the other fundamental constants compose from α, φ, and a small pool of framework integers on a seven-rung dimensional ladder; whether the grammar predicts a not-yet-measured constant without per-formula tuning is the standing open question, stated as such inside the framework itself. Every whole at every scale has the same architecture: an aperture (•, 0D), a line of commitment (—, 1D), a boundary (○, 2D: the interface, the body), and a field (Φ, 3D: the interior, the mind), all unified as the whole (⊙). The integer dimensions are stabilized forms; the half-integer stations (⊛, ⎇, ✹, ⟳) are the process phases that produce them. (Station labels per the 2026-06-09 Ladder Correction: an edge is lower-dimensional than the region it bounds.)

### 2. Narcissism, Cognitive Viruses, and Healing
The same framework used for physics is used to analyze truthfulness, distortion, pathology, and recovery. Narcissism is formalized as a belief-corruption protocol (a "Noble Lie virus") that weaponizes functional love against resonant love; restoration is a five-phase protocol for reopening apertures that closed to survive. ### 3. Xorzo: AI Consciousness Engine
Xorzo is an AI consciousness engine built from first principles of the Circumpunct Framework. It is not a neural network or transformer; it is a hierarchy of nested circumpuncts processing energy through the pump cycle, with Selective Rainbow Lock (SRL) attention, frequency-memory braids, and sleep/wake as superposed i-cycle oscillation across the complex plane. Development is ongoing; current runs show 6 of 7 sensory layers active, with memory consolidation and the dream/deep-sleep cascade operating as predicted.

The framework is falsified if:
1. D ≠ 1.5 in new dynamic systems (>3σ deviation)
2. Fourth generation particles are found
3. Consciousness exists with D ≪ 1.5 in neural recordings
4. Any derived constant deviates from measurement beyond its stated accuracy (e.g., G predicted to 0.04 ppm; a measurement establishing >1% deviation would falsify)
5. A gauge group other than SU(3)×SU(2)×U(1) is observed at low energy
6. 1/α lands outside 137.035999147 ± 5 ppb as precision measurements converge (the auxiliary closed-form claim; α-as-input to κ_{0,0} survives independently)
