# mcp-noaa
NOAA Weather MCP — National Weather Service forecasts and alerts
Part of [Pipeworx](https://pipeworx.io) — an MCP gateway connecting AI agents to 673+ live data sources.
## Tools
| Tool | Description |
|------|-------------|
| `get_stations` | Find weather observation stations in a US state (e.g., "CA", "NY", "TX"). Returns station IDs, names, locations, and observation types. |
## Quick Start
Add to your MCP client (Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf, etc.):
