# SUZURI MCP Server

[日本語版 README はこちら / Japanese README](./README.ja.md)

The official remote [Model Context Protocol (MCP)](https://modelcontextprotocol.io/) server for [SUZURI](https://suzuri.jp/) — a print-on-demand merchandise platform operated by [GMO Pepabo, Inc.](https://pepabo.com/)

Upload images or generate text designs, place them on 450+ items to create original goods, and search and explore products — all through natural language conversations with AI assistants.

## Endpoint

```
https://mcp.suzuri.jp/mcp
```

Transport: Streamable HTTP. Authentication: OAuth 2.1 (handled automatically by supported clients).

## Features

- **Material management** — upload image materials, generate text materials, analyze reference images, and manage your existing materials
- **Product creation** — place materials onto items to create products, preview and compare placements, and use placement presets
- **Product discovery** — search and browse products, view recommendations, similar items, and curated selections
- **Favorites & collections** — manage favorites and organize products into "Choice" collections
- **Account & activity** — view your profile, the users you follow, and your activity feed

Pricing: **MCP server access is free.** Standard SUZURI fees apply when producing or purchasing goods.

## Quick Start

Choose your client below.

### Claude Code

```bash
claude mcp add --transport http suzuri https://mcp.suzuri.jp/mcp
```

Then run `/mcp` inside Claude Code and select **Authenticate** to complete the OAuth flow.

[Claude Code MCP docs](https://docs.anthropic.com/en/docs/claude-code/mcp)

### Claude Desktop / claude.ai

Settings → Connectors → **Add custom connector** → enter:

```
https://mcp.suzuri.jp/mcp
```

OAuth is handled automatically by Claude.

### Cursor

Add to `.cursor/mcp.json`:

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "suzuri": {
      "url": "https://mcp.suzuri.jp/mcp"
    }
  }
}
```

### OpenAI Codex CLI

```bash
codex mcp add suzuri --url https://mcp.suzuri.jp/mcp
```

### Gemini CLI

See the [Gemini CLI MCP server documentation](https://github.com/google-gemini/gemini-cli/blob/main/docs/tools/mcp-server.md) for adding remote MCP servers.

### Local stdio bridge (advanced)

For clients that only support stdio transport, use [`mcp-remote`](https://www.npmjs.com/package/mcp-remote):

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "suzuri": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": ["-y", "mcp-remote", "https://mcp.suzuri.jp/mcp"]
    }
  }
}
```

## Requirements

- A [SUZURI](https://suzuri.jp/) account
- An MCP-compatible client (Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, OpenAI Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, etc.)

## Privacy Policy

- **Privacy Policy**: [GMO Pepabo, Inc. Privacy Policy](https://pepabo.com/company/privacy/)
- **Terms of Service**: [SUZURI Terms of Service](https://suzuri.jp/terms)
- **Contact**: [SUZURI contact form](https://suzuri.jp/contact)

### What this server accesses

The server calls the SUZURI API on your behalf using an OAuth 2.1 access token you grant when connecting. Each tool calls one fixed SUZURI endpoint.

- **Read** — your SUZURI profile, materials, products, sales records, favorites, collections, and activity feed, plus the public catalog (products, users, items).
- **Write** — only through the write tools you approve: creating and editing materials and products, and managing favorites and collections. This server does not handle purchases or payments; checkout happens on suzuri.jp.
- **Image URLs you supply** — when you create a material from an image or ask for a reference image to be analyzed, the server fetches that URL so the image can be relayed to SUZURI or inspected.

### Storage and retention

- Your SUZURI content (products, materials, sales data) is **not cached or stored** by this server. Every tool call goes straight to the SUZURI API.
- OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and expire automatically: authorization sessions and codes after 10 minutes, access tokens at their expiry.
- An audit log line is recorded when you complete authorization, containing the MCP client ID, your SUZURI user ID and user name, and the granted scope. Access tokens are never logged.
- Tool arguments and conversation content are not logged or stored.

### Third parties

Outbound requests go only to `suzuri.jp` and to image URLs you explicitly supply. No data is shared with any other third party by this server.

### Your controls

- Disconnect the connector in your MCP client at any time to stop all access.
- Access tokens can be revoked through SUZURI's OAuth revocation endpoint, and expire on their own.
- For disclosure, correction, or deletion of your personal data, see section 13 of the [Privacy Policy](https://pepabo.com/company/privacy/).
