# Olympus Bets Analytics — MCP Server
Public, **read-only** [Model Context Protocol](https://modelcontextprotocol.io) server for the
[Olympus Bets Analytics](https://app.olympus-bets.com) quantitative sports analytics platform.
This repository is the **public identity / registry source** for the hosted server. You do **not** need to run anything — point your client at the endpoint below.

- Spoofed `Authorization` headers do **not** raise the rate limit — the token must be real and entitled.
- Absolute edge ceiling: **120 / min** per IP (host protection).
- Errors are tagged: `[mcp_rate_limit]`, `[mcp_quota]`, `[mcp_auth]` so agents do not confuse speed throttles with unit budgets or bad tokens.
- Call `get_subscription_options` for checkout URLs; a human completes Stripe; create the token under [Premium → MCP access](https://app.olympus-bets.com/best_bets_members#mcp-access).

## Trust and safety
- **Read-only.** No tool places bets or writes member data.
- **Same production pipeline** the website uses (hosted server reads canonical data files).
- **Premium fails closed** without a valid bearer.
- **Rate-limited** as above for fairness and stability.
