  "markdown": "# @pipeworx/mcp-cbs-nl\n\nStatistics Netherlands (CBS) StatLine — the Dutch national statistics office's full\nopen-data catalogue, over OData v3. Population, labour, energy, prices, trade and\nseveral thousand other official tables, in Dutch and English.\n\nPart of [Pipeworx](https://pipeworx.io) — an MCP gateway connecting AI agents to 1476+ live data sources.\n\n## Tools\n\n| Tool | What it answers |\n|---|---|\n| `search_tables` | Which StatLine tables cover a topic — id, title, period, frequency, language |\n| `table_info` | One table's title, summary, period covered, frequency and update status |\n| `table_dimensions` | The columns of a table: key, meaning, unit, decimals — read this before `get_data` |\n| `dimension_values` | The valid codes for one dimension (`Periods`, a region key, …) |\n| `get_data` | Observations from a table, with OData `$select` / `$filter` / `$top` / `$skip` |\n\nTable ids ending in `eng`/`ENG` carry English labels; the rest are Dutch. Start at\n`search_tables`, then `table_dimensions`, then `get_data` — the dimension keys are\ntable-specific and not guessable.\n\n## Auth\n\nNone. No key, no registration, no quota to manage.\n\nCBS refuses Cloudflare's egress addresses on both OData services (a 400 ASP.NET error\npage from `/ODataCatalog`, an empty 406 from `/ODataApi`) while serving the identical\nURLs from other networks. Calls therefore fall back to a non-Cloudflare relay when the\ndirect attempt is refused. So the tool count you see is larger than this table: a\nsingle-pack endpoint currently lists roughly 30 shared tools alongside the\npack's own. The connection's `initialize` response states its exact scope, and\nis the authoritative answer for a given day.\n\nThis is deliberate, not multiplexing by accident. The meta-tools are what let a\nscoped connection answer a question this pack does not cover — via\n`ask_pipeworx`, which routes across the whole catalog — without you adding a\nsecond MCP server. There is currently no way to mount a pack endpoint without\nthem; if the extra schemas cost you more context than the routing is worth,\nconnect to the full gateway once rather than to several pack endpoints.\n\nOr connect to the full Pipeworx gateway to get every pack's tools listed\ndirectly, instead of just this one's:\n\n```json\n{\n  \"mcpServers\": {\n    \"pipeworx\": {\n      \"url\": \"https://gateway.pipeworx.io/mcp\"\n    }\n  }\n}\n```\n\nBoth URLs reach the same gateway and the same 1476+ data sources.
