"markdown": "# F1Laps MCP\n\nF1Laps records and analyzes laps from the official F1 games. The F1Laps MCP connects a F1Laps\naccount to ChatGPT, Claude, and other compatible assistants, so they can answer questions using the\nlaps and sessions saved in that account.\n\nThe hosted server address is:\n\n```text\nhttps://www.f1laps.com/mcp\n```\n\nThe connection is read-only. It cannot edit or delete laps, sessions, seasons, or setups.\n\n## What you can ask\n\nThe F1Laps MCP can help an assistant:\n\n- Find recent, fastest, or telemetry-enabled laps.\n- Summarize best times and progress by track across supported F1 game years.\n- Compare a lap with a personal best, session best, selected lap, or the fastest eligible public\n leaderboard lap.\n- Review sector and driving-data differences when accessible telemetry is available.\n- Compare a saved setup with relevant community results and common setup ranges.\n- Estimate an AI difficulty from a lap time.\n\nExample questions:\n\n- \"Compare my latest Monaco lap with my personal best.\"\n- \"Compare my fastest Silverstone lap with the fastest public leaderboard lap.\"\n- \"Show my best time at each track and where I improved this month.\"\n- \"Compare my setup with the community range for this track.\"\n\n## Connect the F1Laps MCP\n\nFollow the [F1Laps MCP connection guide](https://www.f1laps.com/faqs/f1laps-mcp/) for current\nChatGPT and Claude steps.\n\nIn any compatible client:\n\n1. Add a custom MCP server or connector.\n2. Enter `https://www.f1laps.com/mcp` exactly, without a trailing slash.\n3. Sign in on the F1Laps screen.\n4. Review and approve read-only access.\n\nYou do not need a separate API key or client secret. Never paste your F1Laps password or an access\ntoken into an assistant.\n\n## Account access\n\nEvery registered F1Laps account can use lap and session summaries, progress statistics, community\nsetups, and the AI Difficulty Calculator through the F1Laps MCP.\n\nDetailed telemetry needs a Champion plan, an active Champion trial, or eligible legacy access.\nSummary and setup features remain available without detailed telemetry.\n\n## About this repository\n\nThis repository contains public distribution metadata and connection examples for the hosted\nF1Laps MCP server. The hosted service itself is not open source, and its code, configuration, and\ncredentials are not published here.\n\nThe MIT license applies only to the files in this repository.\n\n| File | Purpose |\n| --- | --- |\n| `server.json` | Metadata for the official MCP Registry |\n| `examples/` | Example questions and client configuration |\n| `CHANGELOG.md` | Public metadata versions |\n| `SECURITY.md` | Vulnerability-reporting guidance |\n| `PRIVACY.md` | Privacy summary and binding policy link |\n\n## Links\n\n- [F1Laps MCP help](https://www.f1laps.com/faqs/f1laps-mcp/)\n- [F1Laps MCP launch article](https://www.f1laps.com/blog/f1laps-mcp-chatgpt-claude/)\n- [F1Laps privacy policy](https://www.f1laps.com/privacy-policy/)\n- [F1Laps terms of service](https://www.f1laps.com/terms-of-service/)\n- [F1Laps support](https://www.f1laps.com/contact/)\n\nSupport email: `contact@f1laps.com`\n",
